We bring the training equipment, resources and materials to you, so your team can train in their own workplace without unnecessary travel or downtime.

This one‑day course provides a strong introduction to workplace health and safety and is ideal for all employees, especially those taking on additional responsibilities such as becoming a safety representative. Successful learners gain a national Level 2 qualification, creating a solid foundation for further training or career progression.

Training is delivered in a classroom setting, with optional pre‑course or post‑course reading depending on experience.

What the course covers

Learners will develop practical knowledge and confidence in:

Roles and responsibilities for health, safety and welfare
The purpose and process of risk assessments
Identifying and controlling common workplace hazards
Responding effectively to workplace incidents and accidents

Assessment is continuous throughout the day and concludes with a short multiple‑choice test.
The qualification does not expire, but regular refresher training is strongly recommended to keep knowledge current and aligned with workplace policies and procedures.
