This half‑day course is the perfect introduction to health and safety in the workplace. It’s ideal for new starters, anyone returning to work after a long break, or staff who need a simple, practical overview of current legislation and safe working practices.
No previous experience is required, just a willingness to learn.
What the course covers:
Learners will gain a solid understanding of:

The importance of maintaining good health, safety and welfare standards

How workplace hazards and risks are identified and controlled

The main causes and consequences of poor health and safety

How health and safety information is communicated in the workplace
Training is delivered in a classroom setting with plenty of opportunity for discussion and practical understanding.
Assessment is ongoing throughout the session and finishes with a short multiple‑choice test.
This qualification does not expire, but regular refresher training is strongly recommended to keep knowledge current and aligned with workplace policies and procedures.
